This person's account is melodramatic at best, but it's all moot.
They were never taken to Fall's Creek.

It was decided that the Camp Gruber facility was all that was needed for Oklahoma. At Camp Gruber there are only about 60 left last I heard. ( There were 3000 or 4000 at first )

Gov. Henry, church leaders provide update on hurricane relief efforts
September 13, 2005

Oklahoma City – Governor Brad Henry and leaders of the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma announced today that a proposed evacuee camp at Falls Creek will stand down because large numbers of evacuees are no longer expected to come to the state.

The governor, state emergency management officials and Baptist leaders made the decision after the Federal Emergency Management Agency informed state authorities this week that future evacuee transfers will be modest in number.

At a State Capitol news conference Tuesday, Gov. Henry thanked Baptist volunteers for all their hard work at Falls Creek.
