He's not perfect. His comments on Vietnam protesters - even those of us who did nothing other than petition our government to change the policy - are troubling - especially as he can't see the parallel to his being against the Iraq war.

He may though win Virgina and vote for a Democratic leader. He is head and shoulders better than Allen, but the hero worship of some (not you) is a bit much. I suspect that if elected he will be a pretty conservative voice and vote. (I do see why Clark and Kerry who are more liberal support him. They want to take back the Senate.)
