14. What exactly has Not trying to comprimise gotten us so far?
What.. do we want 4 - 8 more years of a Democratic president with a soon-to-be Republican congress & senate.. where yet again this country sits in total gridlock where nothing gets processed except for higher wages for those sitting in Washington, doing nothing?

I DO NOT understand why trying to get people to work together is seen as such a bad thing. Isn't this EXACTLY what we accuse the Bush administration of NOT doing - and one of the (many) reasons why we despise him for it? Or, is it a double edge sword.. it's horrible when the Republicans do it, but damnit.. give us 10 minutes back in the white house and we're going to do it too.

Sorry, someone has to be the "bigger" party here, and it's going to have to be the democrats. Continual fighting without trying to work out comprimises is not the answer.. it's what we've had for years, and it's part of the reason that this country is where it is right now - in the shitter.
