ar·ro·gant Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation

–adjective
1. making claims or pretensions to superior importance or rights; overbearingly assuming; insolently proud: an arrogant public official.

Look folks. I'm no Hillary basher. People ask me when I 'became Liberal'. It was while I was in the Army of all places. Serving in Germany, I didn't like the mindset. I went in under Reagan and left under Bush I. We used to run and sing cadence. I HATED cadence. We would run through the German towns singing of "Killing Gooks" and "Sally"; oh that "Sally". See, "Sally" would sneak out against her mom's wishes and visit the Tanker Hangouts. "9 months later, out it came... a mean motherf*cker justa swingin' a chain..."

Those who served know what I'm talking about.

But I digress...

Inevitable

I voted for Bill twice. Proudly. When they came after him I defended him. Still do to this day. Proudly. When Hillary tried to pass her health care bill I supported her. Still do to this day. Wish it had passed. Hope it still will in some form.

But, there is this word: Inevitable and there is another one: Arrogance.

Inevitable=Arrogance

hhhmmmmmm

I like Hillary. I met her once (well shook her hand). She is dynamic and charming and i'm sure, intelligent. And Arrogant.

The "Clinton Machine" as it is called (and an apt name I believe) is probably the most powerful "machine" I have ever seen in my adult lifetime. It is formidable in so many ways. Awe inspiring in fact. Arrogant.

They thought they DESERVED this just because. They are finding out they don't. They, like all others, must EARN it. They didn't plan on THAT. The 'Clinton Machine' campaigned to win on 02-05. THAT was the date for inauguration day. Hillary was OWED this. She would take it in a cake walk. Thus was the 'Plan' and by God, it shall be so.

Arrogance

Along came an alternative. A dynamic alternative. Yes, Hillary hasn't helped herself with her 'War' vote(s), her insider deals, etc... I don't fault her for it as "it is what it is" in Washington, sadly. But don't be so quick to blame the media or Barack or the RW for Hillary's problems. She and "The Machine" underestimated the mood of the electorate this time. Hell, blame BUSH* for her woes if you want to blame anyone. HE is all that is wrong with this country and the populace is so hungry for something TOTALLY different that she is likely a victim of his total, criminal incompetence (like the rest of us are). See she was front and center and for good or bad, that has hurt her. I hope to hell it hurts 90% of the rest of them on BOTH sides.

I have been an Obama supporter for months now and make no apologies for it. I'm not anti-Hillary and cannot WAIT for a Woman President. Hell, I wish women could/would rule the World. We would ALL be better off.

But...

Arrogance and Inevitability won't guarantee you anything in this life. That is being proven.

Frankly, that makes this Liberal very happy.

Peace.
