I don't see the headlines either:

100,000 US soldiers didn't die in Iraq today.

99,996 US soldiers didn't die in Iraq today.

99,990 US soldiers didn't die in Iraq today.

99,975 US soldiers didn't die in Iraq today.

238 Iraqi schools were not bombed today.

235 Iraqi schools were not bombed today.

It wouldn't be so bad if it really were just numbers.
