One of the things the DU Mods were informed of, and I agree with was that DU's goal is to elect John Kerry in November and that we'll only allow so much in the way of disagreement with him. In other words if you're always posting against him, then you're not with us in your goal and you're not our friend in this process.

That being said, I kind of took it upon myself today to draw the line in the sand a little, but I also want people to know I feel the same way about flamebaiting Clark, Dean, Kucinich, Edwards or any of our guys.

I have been personally working for the Wisconsin Kerry campaign for over a year and I was right there in the middle of Iowa when there was strife between all the camps. But all of that is over now. We need to gather the troops around and aim our cannons to the Right.

This November we need to pool our resources and Vote Democrat all the way through. Kerry is the biggest step, but he is just one of many. And to me, all of the aforementioned guys are helping our cause and I want them and all of their supporters on the same bandwagon with us as we head into battle.

I want every Dem, every Liberal, and hell even a bunch of Greens and Socialists with us so we can charge into Washington and kick Republican ass.

So I have been a lot less lenient with Kerry bashing and Clark bashing, and any bashing as I should be. But forgive me for the quick hook... because I want to win in November and we need all of us to do it.
