Obama's 50-state-strategy looking good outside the Beltway

While the Clinton campaign is content to argue that the only states that matter are Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Florida, the Obama campaign continues to focus on building a national Democratic Party, and it's an effort that is paying dividends with those supers who, well, live outside of Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Florida.

Insulting so many states, saying they didn't matter because they were too small, or too Red, or had too many Starbucks, black voters, or educated white voters, and saying that the only "important" states were California, Illinois, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Florida, really wasn't the smartest path to the hearts and minds of super delegates in those marginalized states.

It's quite clear from watching the Clinton campaign in action that it has zero interest in pursuing a 50-state strategy. It has neither the will nor inclination to dedicate the resources to anything that strays from the typical Democratic campaign of the past few years. In Clinton's general election, all the party's resources would once again be flooded into Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and maybe New Mexico. McCain, short of money, would thank his lucky stars and put all his resources into defending those few states.

Few super delegates have the appetite for going down that path again, and ultimately, it'll be Obama's focus on a national party that will garner him the nomination.

by the way Hill supporters the reason why you don't like Kos is because he tells what he perceives to be the truth, so don't knock him just because you do not agree with him, remember yesterday when he was mad about Obama on fox. He is consistent unlike some hill supporter where she can do no wrong. you know who you are
