Again, the national daily tracking polls might be fun to watch, but they don't mean shit. Popular vote does not elect the president.

Look at his numbers by battleground states, blue states, and regions. He has increased in every category except red/southern states. McCain has lost ground in every area except red/southern states, and he can't win with Southern states alone. Additionally, McCain still can't get past 44 percent.
