And just like credit cards, where paying the minimum means you'll pay off a $1,000 loan over 40 years and paying tens or hundreds of thousands in interest, the longer we put off paying our (public) debt, the more it will cost.

Unless we want to fulfill Grover Norquist's vision, we'd better bite the bullet and tax the rich assholes who got us into this mess while they still have incomes to tax!

And lets have public buyouts, not bailouts. You want taxpayer dollars to help you out? Fine. The taxpayers will BUY YOU, at pennies on the dollar, and you'll thank us and call us "Sir" and "Maam". YOU will work for US, and we won't let you forget it.
