A few minutes ago, Elizabeth "What a Hassle" Hasselbeck repeated, yet again, the lie that Obama broke his pledge to accept public campaign funding. As we all know, he never made any such pledge. While no one made that point, Sherry did point out that McCain had accepted public financing for the primary, then asked to be released from that.

What about whoopi? She broke away for a commercial at that point before Elizabeth could start yapping back at Sherry and, when they were back, the subject was 30 Rock, not politics.
