No ad libs. Ad libs lead to real remarks, real remarks that can later be brushed off as "mis-speaking."

Sadly, I think we've seen the last of the Bushisms for awhile. That was bad PR and it needs controlling. We'll have to look to Rummy for those poems of his and all of the absurdity.

Also, when you have responses to reporters questions at News Conferences already written on 3x5 cards before they ask them, the death knell tolls for any truth, it's more like he's a guest on The Tonight Show.
