and my cat immediately came to me wanting to be held.
She was diagnosed with malignant mammary cancer this past summer and the vet said the prognosis was not good. About a month ago, I had to have two more tumors removed and she is holding her own. She is on the feline version of prednisone and that is helping...for now.
Anyway, the vet (who is wonderful) said that I would know when the time was to put her down.
It will not be easy, but I won't be able to stand to see her in alot of pain, either.
When the time comes, I will remember what you have said.
