His column today on Iraq desrves this: :puke:

Today’s David Brooks’ column is a debate between “Mr Past”, who thinks Iraq was a disasterous mistake and quotes British accounts of how difficult Iraq was in the 1920s and “Mr Future” who mentions reading exodus and seeing parallels to our bringing freedom and democracy to Iraq.

It concludes with Mr Future admitting that Mr Past’s view may be more popular now, but saying that it’s a choice between Mr. Past’s view and those of Moses. He also makes a point that Saddam killed more Iraqus than we have.

Apparently the Passover story is for us to force the Iraqis to accept democracy. This wasn't in my haggadah, there must be a new neo-con one. I think I will not post again ever that a Democrat too blatantly uses religion. This column is beyond infuriating and shows how completely sold he is on neo-con ideas. (Might be why he says he'd rather be with Cheney.)
