352. If you are thinking about getting
a digital camera you might want to look at these sites. The biggest thing to figure out what you are going to do with it. For on-line and email you want smaller pictures( less ppi---pixel per inch.) For printing you want larger (ppi to tranlate into more dpi---dots per inch), you also need to have an idea of how big your prints would be. Any digital camera should work with any computer, though a cd burner and large harddrive would be good. I have a Nikon D100, got the hub a Nikon D70 fir Christmas. I tried his out and it is as good though for some reason (maybe used to it) I prefer the D100. As far as lens go, optical zoom is what you look at. Digital zoom is useless unless you like pixelated pictures. If you have a small camera store around (not a chain)many of them will let you try out different cameras in store to see the differences. For anyone with a film slr I always suggest they look into the same brand dslr and see if their lens from the film with work on the digital. Saves lots of money in lens.

Lots of info on cameras and types. http://www.steves-digicams.com/

Very good info on mega-pixels.
