66. Sorry, I can't take you seriously,
as I was raised in a more gentile environment. I will never be able to take anyone seriously who loves using low class street language. If I reaaly wanted to hear that, I can go stand on a street corner and listen to a gaggle of teenagers.

In the circles I've always lived in - middle class, non wealthy, mostly blue collar and white collar working people - that kind of language is used only rarely and usually in anger. Maybe you could call it classist, but nonstop foul language makes me cringe. I'll also wager that I'm not the only one who feels this way - its effect is much like watching someone picking their nose or scratching their butt in public, and you also might compare its effect to a loud, stinking passage of intestinal gas - can't help but feel embarrassed for the offending person.

You'll never find me chastising anyone here for using foul langauge. I can take it - there's no langauge I haven't heard before or even used myself, but someone asked, so I'm giving my opinion. It's no skin off my nose.
