How Was Clinton Impeached And This Asswipe Not? [View All]

I am dead serious about this.

Almost a decade ago the country was in a Republican-lead uproar over the personal misdeeds of President Clinton. Nothing of national import was at stake, the Constitution had not been insulted. The economy was healthy even though Ken Star was wasting tens of millions of dollars on the ceaseless expansion of a minor investigation of suspected impropriety by the Clintons - an investigation which was finding nothing of importance.

Today we have a toad in the White House. Affronts to our Constitution would be described as treasonous in any other time are revealed daily. The Congress has been usurped of its power, the Court is packed with flunkies. The privacy of every single living American has been breeched and there is no end in sight. The nation's middle class have been abandoned to the rapists of business. Industry has fled our shores in the never ending search for cheaper labor concurrent with the rupture of our borders and the resultant flood of labor not quite cheap enough for it. All of this gone ignored while real laws are broken and real lives are lost. Two thousand five hundred twenty four (2,524) dead American soldiers as of this morning in a war which never should have been. Over one hundred thousand Iraqis dead with no end in sight.

What is the horror of impeachment? Why the fear of it? If there was ever a need for impeachment it is now. The damage being done by this President and his administration continues. He has not stopped and he will not stop so long as he is in office. We have the tool at our disposal to end this national - and certainly international as well - disgrace.

It is simply unconscionable that Clinton was impeached by Bush not.
