when have you EVER seen an "incident" like this, even peripherally related to a serving congresscritter, get so IGNORED...totally..

It was like .."Joe said he had nothing to do with it, and let's move on"..

....

Nothing was said by any of her family (as would be the case usually)..the autopsy was done (in a BIG hurry) by a discredited coroner (I think he was carrying body parts around in the trunk of his car)..

the networks were white-hot after Condit 24-7.... but the crickets chirped for JoeyBoy..where were the demands to SEE the plane tickets and phone records that proved he was not in Florida when she mysteriously was working late and lost consciousness, fell and hit her head... Why was she there "alone" at night..after everyone else was gone...??

so many questions... and NO answers

Joe was an up-and-coming congressman who was always on all the talk shows, and when this happened, he all of a sudden RESIGNED (to spend more time with his family?)..(he and his wife divorced pretty darn soon afterwards)...and he was "nowhere-man" for a long time...
