Frankly, it wouldn't surprise me to see a bit of a retreat from the Wingnuts should Alito get in. Once that rat bastard is in place, these people can pump all their (considerable) money into law firms who, the second a Democratic Congress and President would pass any kind of bid-ness regulation or pro-labor law, will go straight to the courthouse to claim that the gov-ment don't got the right to stop bid-ness from doin' what they wanna do.

And the way Dubya has stacked the courts, be prepared for a series of rulings claiming Congress has no power whatsoever.
