4. Oh my. What a mess that must be. I remember I-10 from Metarie
and I sure as hell wouldn't want to be there at rush hour in a car pile up. I hope everyone is OK.:scared:

Yesterday morning it was bitter cold here in Illinois and overnight we had a light dusting of snow. I left to take my son to school and at a stop light on my way, 2 cars collided and one of them spun-out on the slick road. Since that was on my route to the school, I backed up, turned around and went another route and as I pulled up to the corner at another stop light 1 car rear-ended another car HARD because of the slick road! Within a matter of 5 minutes I saw 2 accidents because people didn't realize that the snow on top of the bitter cold made for VERY slick roads.....and apparently, the village didn't realize they needed to be out with the salt trucks.:(

Winter driving sucks. I always worry more about getting hit by a crazy jerk who doesn't know how to drive in the winter. I worry more about THEIR driving than mine. I drive slow and cautiously.
