A stranger just made my day...

We just moved to CA from OH a few weeks back, and needed to do our smog testing for our car. The automotive shop is next to the laundromat that we have used a few times, so I decided to do some wash, while I waited. I spoke briefly to the attendant and mentioned that I forgot my card (they have a card that allows a free wash, after so many other washes) and she just kind of made a "oh well" sound. I thought nothing of it, and sat down to read the North Bay Bohemian. Well the auto shop drove my car over, and the guy backed in, and I noticed that the wash place attendant was looking at the rear of my car, which prominently displays my Democratic Underground, Kerry/Edwards, and Stop Bitchin' and Start a Revolution stickers. Well, I went out and sat in my car to smoke a cig (I know, I am trying to quit) and she came out and asked my name and said, "make sure you bring your card, and I will stamp it for today". It was a small gesture, but I liked it!
