don't believe in his methodology. Winning power in pre-existing power structures by setting up politicial parties to impose a new socialist order leaves the real danger of simply replacing the few elite capitalists who dominate the economy with a few elite bureaucrats who dominate the economy. The only difference is the bureaucrats claim to stand for the workers. Capitalists have no such pretense. I consider myself more of a moderate libertarian socialist. I fear state power a little more than I embrace it. Leninists and Trotskyites and Stalinists are on the opposite end of me as far as methodology goes with respect to changing the world.

If people want to be free, they've got to use their heads and their hands together and work towards it. They simply cannot rely on a Moses to lead them into the promised land because they could just as easily be led out. They've got to do it together, not rely on a small number of people to do all the work for them.
