There are people here who claim to be Democrats when they're not; there are people who should be posting on ultra left-wing sites, but don't (they know more people will read them here than elsewhere); there are people who enjoy trolling and disrupting these boards because they have nothing better to do.

If I had more time, I'd put in to be a moderator. I'd probably boot out some of the extreme posters that you cited, so that reasonable people could discuss things intelligently.
