He even smiles, nods and laughs when she says that a little levity is necessary, and he cracks up and nods vigorously when she laments that people will even find something to criticize about the event.

This whole fiasco probably just converted a few people to vegetarianism, thereby saving a few turkeys.

Let's give Sarah Palin her due; her turkey pardoning event may have done more to prevent the deaths of turkeys than any other in history.
