However, not to minimize Congress's act of doing their job (commendable as it might be), mentioning Gitmo on Hardball or the Situation with the righteous indignation that we saw above is anaethma to our Democratic "leaders". Their aversion to speaking loudly, clearly and incessantly on this topic is not as profound as their repulsion to speak of the election fraud which jeopardizes their own jobs, even after Gonzo gate comes to light, but it seems that they would much rather have a "fictitious" hollywood show express the outrage that many of us feel, rather than represent the significant portion of their constituents who want Bubba and Doris "Support the Troops, Fight them over there, He's our commander in chief" to truly appreciate what is happening to our country. Instead, as you so graciously pointed out, they do things behind the scenes and hope that the other side will see the light without any pressure from their consituents. Will this chicken shit strategy work? I hope so and must still admit that I am proud that they are at least trying. Now, I am going to move on because this soap box is hurting my feet.
