why Phil Donahue was canceled, (that it cost to much); It is a dubious argument at best. Either a show makes money and is successful or it does not. There are many shows that have audiences that are not canceled, particularly when they are as successful as the PD show. There is no effort to prove here that the Phil Donahue show was financially unsuccessful as their highest rated show, nor that it had a lack of advertising dollars; which would or could prove the point either way; Whether MSNBC was supporting a right wing cause of humongous and devestating magnitude, a criminal and diabolical war, which made and is still making MSNBC's parent company an obscene tonnage of money. I cannot see how the PD show was not financially successful, thereby making MSNBC morally bankrupt; With way over one million men women and children slaughtered and millions maimed and dying, just like the rest of corpmedia, the blood of these millions maimed, dying and dead rests squarely on their heads. The Phil Donahue/MSNBC debacle though, is a particularly illuminating and reprehensible act in the quest for a war of pure greed. I remember avidly watching the PD show and and taking note that, never once did I see a lack of advertising.
