And I was happy you put that in because organic gardening is considered the "intellectual's gardening." That is because whenever one encounters a crux, one has to research to learn the natural means of working with it. Example: aphids: strong shower of water or water from the hose simulating nature. Ladybugs, who eat that particular type of pest. There is no end to the challenges of organic farming, and it is a pleasure to do because every day one learns more about nature.

Thus anyone intelligent enough to do that can also multitask as a leader.

This is not to disparage those who farm by chemical means. They are locked into a system, just like many of us who are in the "drive to work" cycle. I hate driving to work and I would like to use a bicycle but the danger of NJ roadways and the distances preclude it. Yes, people do break out and many here have. It can be done, but it's not easy.

I loved this little kid's speech. I am going to use it in my speech classes as we are now going into persuasive speaking. I think the kid had a little help from his teacher in constructing that speech, as it almost perfectly emulates The Monroe Motivated sequence.

Loved the lines about sparkly cereal and NFL player/organic farmer.

Wow, wow, wow, I'm so impressed--and very touched.

Cher
