As the Inuits, our first climate refugees (along with those affected in developing countries and the islands already sinking off Indonesia and India,) learn to cope with the drastic dangerous changes our behavior is causing. We surely are on thin ice in more ways than one. This makes all of the pettiness seem so unimportant when you look at the big picture.
