Patraeus speech.

The Patraeus speech is an opportunity for the Dems to haul ass and win the
debate. All they have to say is, "Is the Bush Administration once again asking
us for more time, and telling us that 'things are going swimmingly?' How many times
are we going to hear that a failed war is succeeding? How many more soldiers will
die before George Bush faces reality?"

The Democrats have the truth, reality and the American people on their side. The Reps
know it.

They're attempting to muzzle the Dems in the only way they possibly can---by equating
criticism of the war with being on the side of the terrorists.

Fucking transparent thug motherfuckers. God, this just makes me so sick.

If the Dems had any balls whatsoever, which they don't---they would capitalize on this
and shout, "We will not cower to Osama bin Laden or Al Queda! America will not allow
terrorists to determine our foreign policy or allow us to destroy our Constitution or
civil rights or leave our nation a bunch of terrified pansies afraid to do the right
thing---end this insane, failed war that is killing our soldiers and robbing this nation!
We are not afraid of Osama bin Laden! We will not allow Al Queda or Osama bin Laden to
dictate what is said in this country and what our foreign policy is!

But no....they'll do what they usually do...NOTHING. Absolutely nothing that makes any
difference. Maybe they'll write a letter to Bush, demanding this or that...or criticizing
him. Big frickin whoop!
