I'm not sure if this is the first but it's certainly one of the first public appearances for Bush since he left office. Last time he tried to throw out an opening pitch he was boo'ed pretty badly.
Any DU'ers in the area? maybe you want to buy a ticket and join the chorus. better yet, bring some pretzels and throw them on the field. maybe he'll choke on one. Or maybe bring some signs or whatever. It certainly would be nice if he gets boo'ed and the media picks up on it. The best part of this article is reading the word "former" before the words "president Bush."
Let this be a sign to FORMER president bush that for the rest of his life, eveywhere he goes, he's going to get booed. He will not be able to escape it and he'll have to lock himself up in a hole and never come out.
Bush to throw out first pitch
ARLINGTON, Texas -- Former President George W. Bush will throw out the ceremonial first pitch on Opening Day for the Texas Rangers.
Bush will become the third U.S. president to throw out the first pitch for a Rangers home opener when Texas plays the Cleveland Indians on April 6.
