49. Tell the kids the US mainstream media is "fsck-ed up"??
If the mainstream media was a computer file system, i'd definitely like to run a fsck on them. (fsck = file system check command line instruction on most UNIX and Linux systems, and appropriately named because you often run a fsck when your hard drive is f**ked up).

As for the word "blowjob", they sure haven't heard of Michael O'Leary, the CEO of Ryanair.

I'm a British ex-pat and like to keep up with news from home. As such, I own a wifi/internet radio, and the radio is pretty much exclusively on a BBC station, either World Service, Radio 4 or Radio 7. It may have come to that point that you should consider purchasing a wifi/internet radio and listening to a wider range of stations - CBC, BBC, ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corp), DW, RNI... I do recommend the domestic BBC services of Radio 4 & 7 because of what they are: Radio 4 discusses topical issues of UK and international interest and has some good speech entertainment on too. The Afternoon Play (2:15pm UK time) I recommend is a good listen, and last Monday's play was *very* thought provoking, to the extent I'm recommending people go to the BBC iplayer online and listen (it's about adoption in the early 1960's in the UK with adoptees from that era talking about their experiences today surrounding their adoption and also depicts a botched abortion attempt). Radio 7 has comedy and drama on it (basically from the BBC archives), also some children's programming for the morning routine, but sadly morning routine for them is 1am-3am for us.
