19. Americans have essentially lost appreciation of nuance and grey.
Nowadays, everything has to be all right or all wrong...all black or all white, all good or all bad. It's the upshot of a failed experiment to force everyone to be 100% equal in every aspect of human existence. In an attempt to leave no child behind, they all got left behind.
