and then when we're caught, we can just say that it's time to move on.

I don't understand why our representatives don't see this is a critical issue. The President has broken laws. His administration has broken laws. Since when is that something that we are just supposed to ignore?

The Democrats in charge are making a HUGE mistake in not pursuing this. I don't know if they've drunk the Kool-Aid, but they seem convinced that if they pursue impeachement, they will pay a big political price. I think they'd be surprised at the support they get. And if they don't pursue impeachement against Bush, after all he's done, they are setting a HUGE precedent for future years. I mean, if Bush can't be impeached with all his crimes, then what the hell is it going to take for anyone else to be impeached? Murder with the knife in his/her hand?

I'd bet 10 years salary that if this was a democratic president, the Repubs would pursue impeachement. Noooooo doubt about it.
