what a Dick

Vice President Dick Cheney on Friday accused critics of the administration's war strategy of ignoring the bloodshed and chaos he said would follow a premature U.S. troop withdrawal.

This from the man who promised flowers and candy would be given to the American troops, the war wouldn't last long, Iraq had WMDs, was directly linked to terrorist groups and would pay for itself. None of this turned out to be true. When it was clear the country had fallen into chaos and a civil war, he promised the American people it was only an insurgency (And that insurgency was in its last throes). Now suddenly after 4.5 years of ignoring the complete lack of progress in Iraq, the huge cost in lives (American and Iraqi), the huge cost in both money and potential the money could have been spent on to improve Americans lives, he says we are ignoring the consequences of OUR actions. Hey Cheney... FU. As John Stewart said the Rethugs say we can not accurately predict the positive rate of improvement Iraq the surge will have, but they can accurately predict the negative results of a withdrawal. Huh? Either you can predict the future in Iraq or you can't Dick and judging by your last predictions on Iraq, I'd say you can't.
