I mean, without the Protect America Act, how can we defend ourselves from the terrorists? If telecoms aren't granted blanket immunity for anything they've done up until now, and the administration doesn't have the unfettered right to ignore the Fourth Amendment whenever it suits them, we're about to see the smoking guns become mushroom clouds!
