First of all, I am not saying that all church goers are bad people, indeed, most of the ones I know are very nice people. I just saw this in our local paper and was disgusted. The columnist is fairly progressivwe and I suspect that she may have posted in here at one time. Anyway, go to www.qctimes.com and click on opinions. Then click on Barb Ickes. It is a disgusting display of racism, so if you just ate dinner, beware.
A capsule: It seems that work brought a man of Indian descent to this area and, being Catholic, he started attending a local Catholic church. His father passed away, some other "brown skinned" people came in apparently to pay respects, and some of them started taking pictures of the church. Some of the congregants got paranoid and actually called police. Brown skinned, taking pictures of an old church building, yep, must be terrorists.
