Its ENTIRE Dept. of Corrections and Law Enforcement agencies over the past ten years has been in some form of collapse under the weight of its corruption.

Florida is also at the top of Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch lists for human abuse, civil rights violatons, and human trafficking (slavery).

Although the 'Liberty 7' trial receives high public visibility, in the same timeframe, FBI and DOJ agents attempting to issue warrants against correction guards ended up in a deadly gun fight. The Federal agents were attempting to make arrests in a sex-for-contraband scandal.

Florida is indeed still in the "wild wild west" mode.
