I lean more toward Obama than Hillary although I think they are both bad choices. Edwards is still our best chance to win the election. Nevertheless, calling women w***** is out of bounds because it is sexist and suggest a lack of sexual virtue. I realize that sounds old-fashioned, but, traditionally, making a statement like that about a person's sexual conduct is, if untrue, slander per se. It's bad stuff. Of course, no one would sue Randi over this, but Randi was in the wrong and should apologize. Calling Hillary and Ferraro w***** makes "nappy" (remember the talk show host who used that term about some female athletes) sound polite. Hillary and Ferraro are Democrats. They are on our side. Remember.

A lot is said about how Africa-American voters will not vote for Hillary. May I remind you that one of the demographics that does not vote is single women -- and a lot of single women support Hillary. We will need every vote to win in November. It's OK to have strong differences of opinion about the candidates during the primaries. But the food fights should not get so out of bounds that they divide the party. Randi went to far. She is a political talk show host, not a stand up comedian. Sarah Silverman gets by with this stuff because she plays her character -- a cut, obnoxious young woman. Randi was playing herself -- that is another thing that got her into trouble.
