Turkish jets target Iraqi Kurds

Turkish fighter jets have attacked a group of Kurdish guerrilla fighters in northern Iraq.

According to the Turkish army, the group was wiped out in the air assault.

However, the Kurdish guerrilla movement, the PKK, says no fighters were killed during the Turkish attack.

On Wednesday, Turkish warplanes also carried out attacks against PKK targets in northern Iraq, but were unable to kill any rebels.

does the US Airforce just watch them bomb ??? Shouldn't they be defending Iraq and escorting Turkey out???
