1. Fungi are our friends

in so many ways. Without fungal decomposition we would drown in an ocean of waste. Fungi are among the most powerful mineral concentrators in the human diet, and numerous varieties boast medicinal properties. They are barometers of healthy environments. Beautiful, fascinating, mysterious. Heck, some of them even speak to us.
