It's very clear from the evidence that even the Bush administration has released that they had numerous warnings about 9/11. Either they were totally incompetent and then took great advantage of a windfall disaster, or they deliberately ignored their own experts' warnings and then took great advantage of a windfall disaster.

Either way, everything that the Bush administration has done since 9/11 (and some of the things they snuck around doing before) have been enabled or excused by 9/11 - the wars, the loss of civil liberties, the illegal spying, the torture of prisoners, the enormous shift of hundreds of billions of dollars from our children's future into the pockets of war-profiteers. None of it would have been possible without 9/11.

And, voila. He got the trifecta. What a coinky-dink.
