Is there no accountability for them? Accountability is something I feel we have lost, both in our elected officials and others, like this contractor. They should not just be fired, whoever the highest official was that made the judgement call to decieve and endanger our soldiers safety like that should be tried for treason. I don't know how you could possibly aid and abet the enemy in a time of war more than knowingly delivering contaminated water to our troops. Despite the fact that the war itself isn't so great, our troops and military in general are doing the best they can in a shitty situation, and it is disgusting to me that a company hired to provide them with clean water is intentionally re-using wastewater in the name of the dollar.
