Easy credit drove prices up to the point where anything more expensive than a PC was difficult to buy without credit. It used to be that you could save up and buy a car. Cars cost $15,000 now. Quite a bit to save up. I don't think I even have to mention what happened to housing prices, but the price of everything has skyrocketed with no increase in wages. Buying on credit used to be an option, but now it's pretty much a requirement.

But it's looking like those days have come to an abrupt end, huh?
