5. Hey, what's all this remembering stuff?

The media are doing their damnedest to make sure that all the high drama of the moment is completely isolated from any of its antecedents, and that the righteous thunder from congressional Republicans is completely divorced from their previous legislative record. Now, here comes this Zimmer fellow to bring up all these stinky little turds floating in the Republican punch bowl. Get with the program, people! We're focusing on Republican outrage, not Republican hypocrisy.
