8. I really detest the lack of respect Republicans show
other people. They whine constantly about not being kow-towed to by the Obama administration. They want to be treated with the utmost consideration. Yet, they continue to act like snarkly little frat boys by deliberately mispronouncing the name of the opposition party. Their adherence to acting dumb and obnoxious is not playing well with the American people. Bush overplayed the fratboy rudeness. We're all sick of that schtick.
The belittling snideness is as old and tired as the GOP. Look how poor John McCain looked the fool when he tried his "gotcha" with Obama over the pricey presidential helicopter. McCain looked bitter and sneering. Obama responded with humor and elegance.
The Republicans need to take a cue from Obama, learn some manners, and act like people with a sense of dignity.
