It's an old mining town in northern AZ just off old Rt 66.

Many years ago the miners set the burros free in the mountains around the settlement of Oatman when the mines ran out. The burros survived and breed and now come into the town. They are everywhere. I've been there a few times and take carrots to feed the burros. They are so cute, especially the babies. The few people that live there have names for the animals and they are well taken care of.
