Doing something about "men's murderous ways" is interesting. Women also have murderous ways, although to a far lesser degree, but that is of little comfort to the victims.

All mothers are women (duh!) and they should wield a lot of power in the raising of their sons since it seems that fathers are not much involved (on average) in the raising of their children. But does society have more of an impact upon the socialization of males and how they respect, esteem, and relate to women? I don't think there is a simple answer to this problem.
