stupid, uninformed and/or intentionally misinformed (by groups like American Eagles- another hateful group of LIARs and trouble makers), she thought Cindy Sheehan was the leader of the group that protests at soldier's funerals and thinks the bikers that prevent her from disturbing the funerasl are heros.
I work with her and she asked what I was doing on the weekend,so I mentioned the Greensboro Peace Fair with Cindy (and lots of other GREAT speakers/performers).
First she said the usual lines about how some of the soldiers feel they are against them- and I said how many were the families of killed soldiers, vets and military families etc. and they wanted them to come home ASAP etc.
THEN she actually said "You may disagree with me but..."
So I explained to her that the Westboro Baptist Church were NOT in the Peace movement or associated with mainstream Baptist but a extreme right wing HATE group rabidly homophobic.

The conversation was a little scary, because this person is just a regular, seemingly nice but busy person. It is one thing to not agree but to be so blatantly beleiving such an ugly LIE, ugh.

this is the kind of misinformation groups like the American Eagles use to get stupid people to rally and smear people like Cindy who are trying to do some good.

Cindy Sheehan has been active in the US anti-war movement ever since her son died during his tour of duty in Iraq on April 4, 2004. Sheehan was one of nine founding members of Gold Star Families for Peace, which calls for an immediate end to the occupation of Iraq and provides support to members of the military and their families. Sheehan attracted international attention in August 2005 when she and others set up Camp Casey in front of George Bush's Crawford, Texas, ranch, an around the clock demonstration that demanded to speak to the president and for the war on Iraq to end.

Sami Rasouli grew up in Iraq, left in the late 1970s and eventually moved to Minneapolis where he opened a restaurant called Sinbad's. It was a watering hole for people particularly concerned about politics. In November 2004, nearly 30 years after leaving Iraq, Rasouli returned home to help rebuild his country and report back to the people of the United States on what is really happening in the war. He is a founding member of the Muslim Peacemakers Team in Najaf.
