They were well organized and had some very convincing ads if one is gullible... Obama had no idea what he was up against or how well organized the industry would be for this fight..So we lose the battle for real healthcare reform. And this effort to win this battle began long before the votes were cast in Nov 08
The big difference with LBJ and Obama ..LBJ knew how to get legislation through Congress and he didnt kiss the Republicans hind-end to push it through.
