There is no corresponding extreme on the pro-choice side. There just isn't. There is no one advocating aborting every pregnancy. The pro-choice position - safe legal abortion, reliable and easily available contraception, and comprehensive sex ed - IS the mainstream middle ground. So what the forced birthers do is pretend that pro-choice means pro-abortion. They create a false equivalence and are almost never called on it, even by our side. This is why the suggestions that we should "find common ground" with these people are ludicrous.


That's been my observation as well... there seems to be no reasoning with these fanatics!

I think we should start calling them PRO-DEATH'ers. Why? Because, invariably, as I talk with them... they've no real problem with the DEATH PENALTY... and of course, there's the willingness (or silent support thereof) to KILL people around, and in support of, abortion clinics.

They've never been able to explain to me how they SQUARE THAT with being what they call "pro-life"?! :wtf:
