Having said that, I don't agree with his stand on HCR. Practical concerns, at least to me, trump philosophical beliefs. Especially in this instance.

I wish he wasn't always marching to the beat of a different drummer.

If his vote ends up stopping HCR, I will defiantly re-evaluate my support for him in 2012.

Back when he was pro-life, he talked to a couple of monsignors in large parishes in parts of his district which over lapped the state senate district I was running in. Because he put in a good word for me, I was able to campaign at Catholic events. I feel that he stuck his neck out for me and I at least owe him the benefit of the doubt.
